Terms of Business
- Insurance - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited accept holiday bookings on condition that all riders and horses in the party are adequately insured against third party liabilities . Any vehicles should also be insured against third party liabilities and are parked on hosts’ premises at the owner’s own risk.
- Vaccination and Worming - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited accept holiday bookings on condition that all horses coming on the holiday have been properly wormed and vaccinated against equine flu.
- Our liability to you - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited accept responsibility for making bookings for accommodation (bed, breakfast and evening meal) and, where required transport, for you and your group and grazing (or stabling) for your horses and for providing a written route guide to your route. Should anything go wrong with them, Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited will in no case be liable for more than the total fee you have paid for the holiday.
Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited has taken all reasonable steps to ensure that proper arrangements have been made for all the holidays it provides and that the suppliers of accommodation, grazing (or stabling) and transport, which you and your horses will enjoy during your holiday are efficient and reputable.
Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited has no direct control over suppliers of accommodation, grazing (or stabling) and transport and it cannot have or cannot accept any liability for their actions or omissions, or for anyone employed by them. If you find that you have any dispute with the suppliers of such services, Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited will give you any reasonable help it can to resolve the dispute.
- Following the route - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited makes every effort to provide a route guide that is clear to follow. Nevertheless it assumes that you are competent to follow directions and it does not accept any liability if you fail to reach your reserved overnight stop. You will be solely liable for any extra costs incurred if you are delayed or if you deviate from the route, which has been planned for you.
- Reliability of information - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited checks the descriptions given in its route guides, brochures and website. However, you should bear in mind that that there may be changes (fallen trees, pub opening hours etc.) or you might find that some of the amenities, which are described are temporarily unavailable. Such events are regrettably beyond its control, but every effort will be made to notify you of any changes.
- Cancellation or significant change of route - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited reserves the right in any circumstance to cancel your holiday or change a significant element of the route (by significant is meant more then a third of the distance) and in this event it will either return to you all money you have paid or will offer you an alternative route of comparable quality. Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited will inform you of any such changes as soon as is reasonably possible.
- Damage or Injury - Wales On Horseback – Cymru Ar Geffyl Limited does not accept any liability for damage, loss or injury to you, your vehicles, your personal property, your horse or your tack.
We do not accept any liability for damage or injury to you, your horse or tack, however caused.
Postponement or Cancellation
We are aware that under certain circumstances holidays have to be postponed or cancelled.
- Postponement up to 4 weeks before your holiday start- If you can change your booking for an equivalent holiday to a later date within the following twelve months we shall amend your booking without charge.
Please note that we only offer this service once for each booking. If you have to postpone a second time the deposit is lost.
- Postponement less than 4 weeks before your holiday start - If you can change your booking for an equivalent holiday to a later date within the following twelve months we shall amend your booking at a cost of £10 per person e.g. if there are 4 in your party the total cost would be £40.
Please note that we only offer this service once for each booking. If you have to postpone a second time less than four weeks before the commencement date it will be treated as a cancellation – see below.
- Cancellation up to four weeks before your holiday start - If you cancel before you have paid the balance due you simply lose the non-refundable deposit of £10 per person per night.
- Cancellation two to four weeks before your holiday start - Fifty per cent refund of the total amount you have paid.
- Cancellation less than two weeks before your holiday start - No refund.
Please therefore ensure that you arrange your own cancellation insurance.
